In Babylon AD we get to see Vin Diesel as the mercenary, Toorop living in a post-apocalyptic Europe. He accepts a standard mission to escort a package to New York City.
He then learns that the package proves to be a young woman. As the mission proceeds he got to learn that he woman is pregnant with twins and one of the unborn children, could be the next Messiahs.
Now, the mission takes a turn from being just a usual mission for Toorop, and he realizes that everybody is out capture the pregnant woman.
The director of the movie, Mathieu Kassovitz, was dissapointed of how the movie turned out, since according to him, the distributors, 20th Century Fox, took over the control of the movie and altered it in way that Mathieu, didn’t like.
