Five years after the last movie (Freddy vs. Jason) in the Friday the 13th series, the director Marcus Nispel takes us back to Crystal lake, once again.
The writers, Damian Shannon and Mark Swift, also wrote the screenplay for the movie, Freddy vs. Jason and Nispel helmed the remake of The Texas Chain Saw Massacre.
The gruesome Jason Voorhees is played by Derek Mears and as for the lead couple we see Jared Padalecki and Amanda Righetti. You might recognize Jared from his lead role as Sam Winchester in the TV-show Supernatural.
It is said that this Friday The 13th movie will have elements from all the three first movies.
Friday the 13th is about a group of young adults, visiting the old Camp Crystal Lake. However, after a while their fun weekend transforms to a nightmare, as they gets hunted and killed by a psychopath with a machete - Jason Voorhes.
