Before we see Kiefer Sutherland, in the movie 24, we will see him in the horror movie, Mirrors. This is another remake of an Asian horror film, this time the original is titled, Into The Mirror, from 2003.
The director, Alexandre Aja also wrote the screenplay to Mirrors, just like he did with the latest movie he directed, The Hills Have Eyes (2006). So, I hope that Mirrors will be just as great as, The Hills Have Eyes, was.
In Mirrors Kiefer Sutherland plays the role of the security guard, Ben Carson, that works in a department store. He is married to Amy, played by the beautiful Paula Patton and they have three kids, together.
Unfortunately, the department store, gets struck with some strange deaths. On top of that, people start to demonstrate against the store, to get compensation for a fire, that killed some of the staff, including Ben’s sister.
Now, Ben meets an awkward lady, that claims to be his sister. This uncanny lady, seeks revenge and she uses mirrors to enter Ben’s world and soon his whole family is threated.
I like the plot, a lot and after I have seen the trailer I think that this movie can actually be something, to look forward to. Mirrors has premiere on August the 15th, so it’s not that far away.
