You remember the show that you said you didn’t like, but you watch it anyway, with your girlfriend, that was all crazy about it? That’s right, Sex and The City!
Now it’s time for the characters, Carrie Bradshaw, Samantha Jones, Charlotte York and Miranda Hobbes with Mr. Big to take their straight language and openness about women and sex, to the silver screen.
In the summer of 2008 the movie “sex and the city” is released. Directing the movie is Michael Patrick King, he also does the writing together with Candace Bushell. The main actors are Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis.
The movie focuses on Carrie Bradshaw, a maven journalist and her romantic exploits and fashion obsessions as a single woman in New York, but the movie also focus on three other women. In the movie you see them trying to juggle jobs and relationships while handling motherhood,marriage and Manhattan real estate.
The movie starts with Carrie planing her weeding with Mr Big and going slightly overboard, letting it becoming very big.
The movie is based on the TV series and takes start four years after the series ended. Since the series was such a big success, the movie has a lot to live up to, but there is a lot of evidence to its success, one is that it’s the same actors in the movie that played in the series. The movie is, supposed to be out in may or June depending on which country you live in. In the U.S. the movie is released on the 30 may, 2008.
